The EUROAVIA Athens team is very pleased to announce one of the most important collaborations for this year. The company Hellenic Drones, with areas of activity, UAVs and drones, is now by our side in the development of new projects but also in the evolution of existing ones.
Hellenic Drones is a Greek company in the field of drones and UAVs and since 2017 is the most modern academy of unmanned aircrafts in Greece! With a focus on research and development on new and demanding applications of drones but also on the use of innovative methodologies and tools, Hellenic Drones is an ever-evolving company in their field of expertise.
At the same time, the company incorporates highly trained personnel with long experience on unmanned aerial vehicle systems, as a result of which it provides theoretical and practical flight training. Indicatively, some of the subjects covered by the companty’s trainings are: multicopter and fixed wing aircraft flights, night flights as well as various aerial tasks such as acrobatic flights, formation flights and cargo transport. In this context, the company will also train the pilot of EUROAVIA Athens in order to participate in the Air Cargo Challenge 2022 with HERMES V.
Our cooperation with the company, in addition to many development opportunities, brings us closer to DronePort. DronePort is the first airport exclusively for testing and flying drones and UAVs in the area of Messologi. It includes hangars and a training center while also hosting dozens of unmanned aircraft. Among the companies and organizations that use DronePort are HUSI (Hellenic U-Space Institute), Phantec and now EUROAVIA Athens!
We would like to once again thank Hellenic Drones for its willingness to work with us. We look forward to building the wings of our future together.
